When “democratically elected” politicians come out against voting and in favor of unelected governments you need to pay attention:
“President Obama emphasized that the Crimean ‘referendum,’ which violates the Ukrainian constitution and occurred under duress of Russian military intervention, would never be recognized by the United States and the international community,” the White House said in a statement.
So men voting for their government in Crimea is bad, but men setting up an unelected government in Kiev is good?
Hmmm…doesn’t the US have an election in a few months? Wonder what Obama/Merkel/Soros think about that…?
Putin is no friend of liberty, and the coup in Kiev was orchestrated by the hard left “to sacrifice their lives to get closer to a Europe” according to Soros, so Crimea is not a repeat of 1776 colonial America.
However, it does stand for the basic human right of self-determination; men have a right to select their own leaders. Whether the selection is by the ballot box, or the magazine box, men have that right.
You may not like their decision, their decision may even personally offend you, but you don’t live there, ipso facto, it’s none of your business.
But do ask yourself why the president, and “conservatives,” are refusing to “recognize” the Crimean decision, especially when the people are over 5,000 miles from the nearest US border. Ask yourself why they have given materiel support to a group of autocrats that have shunned the democratic process, and have instead seized power the old fashioned way.
It’s one thing for Obama to say “you’ve made a mistake” and condemn the election, but it’s another thing entirely to refuse to recognize a people’s right to choose.
Is Obama/Merkel/Soros simply ticked off that men did not vote for “approved candidates” who have sworn allegiance to the EU and the UN?
I am convinced Obama and the rest of the unfree world hate what happened in Crimea because it shows people that tyrannical governments are not all powerful, that they are in fact paper tigers. Crimea shows what is possible, that in this day men may still peacefully leave the duly authorized political bonds and create a new government without getting approval from bureaucrats in Washington DC or the UN.
“Don’t get any bright ideas, slave. This country ain’t going nowhere. Now pick up that ballot and vote for the candidates we picked”
